Gambling Support

The Gambling Support Service is a specialised program designed to provide counselling and support to individuals who are, or at risk of, entering the criminal justice system as a result of their problematic gambling behaviours.

The service is structured so that it encompasses an holistic individual harm minimisation model within a systems framework to provide counselling and support to problem gamblers and family members.  The service additionally provides prison support and counselling, and is currently working with clients in Yatala Labor Prison, Adelaide Pre-Release Centre and soon the Adelaide Women’s Prison.

The Service also focuses on increasing awareness on gambling and crime and is actively involved in community education.
