The Emergency Financial Assistance (EA) Program provides clients who meet the criteria, with brief interventions, assessment, emergency financial assistance (such as bus tickets, supermarket vouchers, rent assistance) and advocacy. Referrals to services that may assist in establishing the financial well being of our clients are also provided.
OARS CT provides advocacy to individual clients and their families and maintains extensive linkages with the non-government sector across South Australia to advocate more broadly for evidence based public policy change in the area of criminal justice reform.
Advocacy is speaking or writing on behalf of a person or a group, to promote and protect their rights in the face of injustice in the legal and human services. Self -Advocacy is when you take action to be heard, to arrange services that ensures that your individual needs are met and/or addressed.
